April 16 - 21, 2018

Global Goals Week aims to inform, inspire, and engage the Kennesaw community in the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Hosted by the Owl Leadership Fellows, each day of Global Goals Week focuses on a cluster of goals so participants may identify a goal that resonates with them, connect with campus and local opportunities to support the goal, and engage in meaningful activity for impact. Global Goals Week will also serve as an opportunity for groups that share these passions to collaborate and connect for a greater collective impact on our community.

  • Global Goals Week will also include the First Annual Community Impact Challenge (CIC). CIC is a statewide competition that invites teams of 3-8 students to create initiatives based on the UN 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Teams will present their research and program initiatives at CIC with one overall winner being selected.

Collectively, Global Goals Week will provide the Kennesaw Community the opportunity to explore global concepts on a local level while also promoting Kennesaw’s engagement within the community.
