What is MCLS?

We often perceive leadership to be for those extraordinary individuals; those who are larger than life, and who are greater than us. This year’s Metro-Atlanta Collegiate Leadership Summit seeks to challenge this norm; developing future leaders who choose to think differently about themselves and the world around them. With this year's theme, Breaking Barriers, we will challenge student leaders to reframe their ideas about personal challenges and change their ways of thinking and acting in a manner that helps them overcome obstacles.

Why Attend MCLS?

The Metro-Atlanta Collegiate Leadership Summit will provide a unique opportunity for students and staff from Kennesaw State University and neighboring institutions to connect with peers while discovering new facets within student leadership.

With multiple educational sessions and two keynote speakers, MCLS trains and educates participants in:

  • Leadership Development
  • Diversity & Multiculturalism
  • Community Engagement
  • Conflict Management

Presenters include advisors, undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, organizations, and community members.
